Education is essential to the Christian life. At Transfiguration we find it in adult activities such as centering prayer and our rectors forum; our young people have a range of options.
Junior and Senior High School Age are involved in the church as acolytes, choir members and as helpers with various activities.
Adult Forum - Each Sunday (excluding summer) between our two services we offer a forum for teaching, study, reflection and discussion.
The Rector’s forum is our principal adult education activity. Outreach and Health ministries regularly host forums. They may be led by clergy or a lay person or someone from outside the parish with a particular expertise.
Health - One of the key components of our Health Ministries is its focus on improving the health of our community. Throughout the year educational seminars (and health screenings) are offered during the adult education hour.
Week Bible studies can include Eucharist and a simple meal. It provides essential Christian experience and knowledge along with, for many, a welcome respite in a busy week.
English/Chinese Bible classes. - are offered by clergy and lay professionals.
