World Food Day - Bean soup lunch after second service; sale of bean soup “kits”. Proceeds to Park Family, missionaries in Peru.
Alternative Christmas Market - EYC sells holiday gifts from foreign lands and takes contributions for local and worldwide charitable. This years Market is picture here!
Arcadia Episcopal Preschool - Professional and compassionate care and instruction provided for preschool-age children of local working parents.
World Missions Last year several of our youth joined Dr. Julie on summer trip to Belize a project that our congregation supports that work, prayer and fundraising. Watch for pictures of last years trip. We also support the work of The Rev. John and Susan Park, who are missionaries in Peru and for Archbishop Bernard of the Anglican diocese of Burundi.
Earth Day Observance is celebrated with a special liturgy and prayers; we acknowledge are common responsibility to preserve environment - God's creation. Each year trees and plants find a home on our parish grounds.
Shoe Box Collections for Christmas Child where we collect toys and personal items to be packed in shoe boxes and distributed worldwide to needy children by Samaritan’s Purse relief organization.
Walk for Friends Outside - Fundraiser & Breakfast, program with a walk at Arcadia Arboretum and a toy collection for child of incarcerated parents.
Pastoral Visits to several elderly residents at Temple City's Sunbridge Care Center located near our Church.
Each Sunday our local food "cart" collects foodstuff and cash for Foothill Unity Center Our Back-to-School Program collects cash, clothing and school supplies for their event at the Race Track.
Our Parish family supports the larger efforts of the Los Angeles Diocese through our pledge. We are also members of our local ecumenical group in Arcadia.
Chinese-English Classes Weekly - parishioners instruct local Chinese residents in English reading and conversation skills.
Host the Santa Anita Winners' Circle AA Meetings Weekly - Parish opens the parish hall to an open Alcoholics Anonymous.
