"DO NOT BE AFRAID ..."

Whoever you are and wherever you are in your journey in faith, our family at Transfiguration welcomes you.  There is only one thing we want you to know, your presence will honor us!

Our mission takes us to a needy and divided world where there is deep fear and great suffering.  Yet Jesus says again and again to His disciples, and to us, "Do not be afraid".  These are words we hope you will say to yourself each day: "Do not be afraid".  No matter our stage in life, we know that if our minds and hearts are set on the reality of Christ and His transforming power, that both our lives and the world will be renewed!

You should also know that we don't take ourselves too seriously -- we know how to laugh.  There is a lot of laughter and eating at "Transfiguration."  So while our faith is the center of our common life, we are not stuffy. If you are a first time visitor, (or even a long-term member) come to our adult forum or hang around for the traditional "coffee". That's how new and long time members become acquainted.

Finally, we are a family and as all families do, we share our lives and our histories  -- so don't be afraid to share your own ... family, faith, friendship and children -- the center, the heart and the future of this holy place in Arcadia California.

This web site will deepen your awareness of our responsible to one another and the world around us.

In Christ's name,

The congregation and clergy of Transfiguration.
